The brief
The brief was to create a unique space designed to give the users an inviting experience that detaches from everyday life. It’s a space to take time off and enjoy a cup of in-house brewed coffee while getting a fresh new look. The idea was to intersperse working zones with leisure areas in the salon.
The design development
For the designers, the space had to dovetail form with functionality. The aesthetic direction is a rustic industrial-style design laced with a tropical flair. The waiting lounge features a cosy seating nook, where the visitors can relax while enjoying a cup of freshly brewed in-house coffee. The entire space embraces and curates zones with multi-functional aspects. The styling stations act as the focal point of the salon. The meticulously-planned 15ft long, raw solid wood table coupled with a frame-less mirror creates a levitating feel.

The material palette
The material palette brings together grey unfinished concrete, solid wood and tropical olive tiles. A neutral palette, chosen to age timelessly, ties the entire space together while air-purifying plants add a tinge of green. The furniture pieces were custom made for the space.
The challenge
The entire project was designed and executed in the span of 21 days which was an accomplishment the designers celebrated.
