Zephyr refers to a gentle, refreshing breeze; a whispering wind that caresses the surroundings, bringing a touch of natural serenity to the home. This AT Studio-designed project, which studio principal Anam Taufik calls Zephyr Den suggests that within its walls, one can experience a harmonious coexistence with nature, where the gentle zephyrs weave their magic. Cradled within a tranquil neighbourhood and beautiful quiet lanes of Upper Thane, rests an 1,500-sq-ft, 3BHK abode that effortlessly merges comfort, style, and individuality.

As you step into the house, you are greeted by a long hallway that stretches out before you. Adorning the walls of the hallway are numerous personal family photos that serve as a visual narrative, offering glimpses into the lives and experiences of the inhabitants. At the end of the hallway, serving as a focal point, hangs a captivating painting that adds a touch of artistic flair to the passage. As you continue your exploration, the hallway subtly reveals glimpses of the living room, teasing you with its beauty and inviting ambiance. The living room serves as a gathering space, harmonising the diverse elements of the house. It embraces simplicity and calm in its design. Its clean lines, uncluttered space, and carefully chosen decor create an atmosphere of tranquillity and comfort. Soft, neutral tones dominate the room, complemented by plush seating arrangements and carefully curated accent pieces.

The kitchen is hidden behind a fluted glass foldable door which completes a neat elevation of the altar space in the living area. The earthy palette of the house effortlessly flows into the kitchen while bringing a contemporary and timeless vibe to the space.

Across the hallway lies the son’s room, designed to reflect his individuality and passion. The room exudes a sense of calm with its cool shades of blue and grey. This room encapsulates colours and textures that create a sophisticated yet industrial ambience, allowing him to retreat to a space that resonates with his personality while offering a cosy haven for the young occupant.

Stepping into the master bedroom, you are immediately enveloped in a warm environment, thanks to the use of cane and wood. The earthy tones of wood are complemented by gentle hints of green, creating a soothing and refreshing atmosphere. This bedroom invites tranquillity and relaxation, with its carefully curated decor that seamlessly blends nature-inspired elements with contemporary aesthetics.

The daughter’s room radiates an air of elegance with its enchanting colour palette of pink, white, and gold. The soft hues of pink lend an ethereal charm, while white and gold accents add a touch of glamour.

A symphony of stories unfolds throughout the house. From the master bedroom’s organic charm that whispers tales of tranquillity, to the daughter’s room adorned in enchanting elegance, and the son’s realm of modern industrial ambience, this dwelling becomes a canvas for individual narratives.
