GharGhar creates sustainable and artisanal home decor products that are inspired by art, culture and heritage. The brand has unveiled — Soul Set — a collection of charming woollen dhurries. The collection is a mix of flat-woven dhurries that borrow some heart-warming elements from age-old handicrafts, and fuses it with a splash of colours inspired by the designers’ travels around the world. They are made using a mix of yarns, and different techniques of weaving.
The beauty of these products is that no two piece looks alike, as they are created by hands — from sourcing of the raw material, dying, Kaati Khulai (opening of the yarn), to weaving, washing and finishing touches — each dhurrie is unique. Made of sustainable, premium quality wool, these low-pile dhurries are highly durable, and easy to maintain and clean. GharGhar can also custom-make (in a size and colour) a dhurrie for a customer.
