Sources Unlimited, popular for their high-end international furniture and lighting solutions, has introduced a statement light — Fractal — from Czech brand Preciosa, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fine glass chandeliers. The Fractal family of lighting features an industrial aesthetic inspired by fractals; a pattern that repeats itself, where a part resembles the whole. They can be found in nature as well as in mathematics, design and architecture.
The collection features metal branches and hand-cut crystal plates that mirror natural fractal motifs through a modular structure reflecting patterns of crystal light. The chandelier comes in five different sizes; each one with a different number of fractals. Single solitaires of fractal are also available for a contemporary look in a smaller space, or to cluster together in groups of three, five, or seven pendants. The light can also be customised to give the branches finishes like gold, black matte, or polished stainless-steel.
