Cocoon Fine Rugs has collaborated with Red Architects, a leading interior design and architectural studio based in Mumbai to create a limited edition collection — .DWG Dossier. The collection complements the existing repertoire of hand woven, award-winning rugs by Cocoon, is a stunning range of handmade rugs inspired by the different shapes, objects and architectural silhouettes from the various projects executed by Red Architects team and Ayush’s vision for a collection inspired by structure and form.
Completely hand-knotted from the finest wool and pure silk in Jaipur, .DWG Dossier was conceptualised during the lockdown and brought to life nine months after to bring a modern handwriting to life where the lines between art and design are blurred.
With its contemporary colour palette of light grey, blush, soothing green and blue tones in whimsical, playful and easy to integrate designs, .DWG Dossier is sure to appeal to the design connoisseur who is keen to experiment and present a new expression to living spaces.
This collaboration also reflects the positive energies between Cocoon Fine Rugs and Red Architects as they came together with their synergies in design process and approach to create a collection that reflects their collective aesthetic and rigorous attention to detail. This limited edition is available in various sizes and can be customised to any size and colour. It will be available across all four Cocoon stores located in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Kolkata.
